messenger turns off when someone trys to chat

well ok. my problem is that I sign in messenger. then when someone clicks
onto me a window pops up. says windowslive messenger has stopped working
windows can check online for solution to problem. > checking online for
solution and close program > close program.

Hi,

I am having similar problem too recently. Whenever I tried to do a video
call, as soon as the other party accept the call, the live messenger has
stopped working with the same message. The same thing happened vice-versa
(i.e. when somebody try to video call me). I have uninstall and reinstall
live messenger and the same problem still occurs.

I am using Vista Home Premium, Asus P5Q SE/R based motherboard, Intel Core 2
Duo E8400, and Creative Live Cam Optia AF webcam.

I have an old XP based labtop at home, and it does not have this problem.

Please help.

I am having exactly the same problem. I tried to uinintall and reinstall
messenger, but it just doesn´t work, keeps crashing everyime. What should I
do? I think i ll go back do old version of MSN.

I have the exact same error, with the latest version of the Windows Live
Messenger Client.
It has worked for a while, but at some point(can't remember when anymore),
it stopped working.
I have Debugging tools for windows, and that gives me this information:
