Messenger won't remember user login settings after reboot

Everytime I reboot, Messenger looses my login settings and I have to type
user name, etc., to login. I've read other messages about yahoo toolbar
causing this, but I don't have yahoo toolbar. Is there a fix for this?

hi there everyone here is a tempory fix till microsoft creates an update.

what you have to do is create another user account in control pannel with
administrator rights and then just login with your password saved then reboot
your computer and it should save your login info i hope this helps all the

I tried your suggestion. Sure it works in the new account, but when I switch
to the old one - no relieve...
