What wasn't mentioned in the article is that the handwriting feature has had a major bug in
it since MSN Messenger 5.0. The bug occurs by using handwriting and then continuing to use
Messenger for a few hours. You'll then find that most messages are no longer possible to be
sent to contacts with the standard "message cannot be delivered" message and you have to
restart the client to correct the problem.
It's completely reproducible and unacceptable that its existed for 5 years through 8 major
versions.
