Hi,

Does anyone know of a program for Vista like the Unix mgetty that
answers the modem and passes the caller to a telnet session?

Thanks,
Doug

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...ws&btnG=Search

A cursory glance at the links brought up by that search shows that there is
already an mgetty Windows port. Have you tried it?

Actually those results are for a Windows client program to mgetty and
not a Windows port of mgetty.

Thanks,
Doug

As I said, I didn't follow the links since I don't need a Windows port of
mgetty. ;-)

Does PuTTY do what you want? If not, then perhaps someone else will have an
answer for you. I'm sorry I was unable to help you.

Thanks Malke, no PuTTY is a client program. What I'm looking for is a
Windows program that will answer incoming data phone calls via the
modem and pass them to a specified telnet session (not necessarily on
the same machine). This is what mgetty does on unix/linux (well, one
of the things it does).

For anyone else interested, the program is called SEXPOTS and can be
found here:
