micro laser mouse repeat clicking upon wakeup

My Vista home premium goes to sleep and when it awakes the left mouse icon
keeps clicking like it is stuck on. I must unplug and reboot then it is fine
until it goes to sleep mode again. Is there a fix for this I bought a new
mouse and reinstalled everything but now I have two mice that keep clicking.
Any info appreciated.

This fix may work:
The hybrid sleep feature and the hibernation feature in Windows Vista may
become unavailable after you use the Disk Cleanup Tool :
