Microsoft 2Q earnings jump 79 percent!
Buoyed by Windows sales, results topped analysts' expectations!

Microsoft's "client" division, responsible for Vista, posted revenue
of $4.34 billion. The company said it has sold 100 million copies of
Vista since its January 2007 launch.

Well, gee, Exxon's profits rose by what, 75% last quarter. Do you
think they gained that "honestly" or did they gain that by controlling
supply to allow them to charge monopoly prices for what should be a
commodity good? No one ever accused Microsoft of stupid business. Just
stupid technology.

>Fukk'em!

Ya know, ****-for-brains, if you say bad words like "****" on Usenet
the Thought Police probably won't show up to cart you off to the Ministry
of Truth.

Just thought you'd like to know you can really let loose and express
yourself.

According to the Linux experts in the NG, M$ is on it's last legs, with
Vista bringing M$ to its knees. Maybe they should go door to door with their
campaign/crusade and give out fliers and sale Linux magazines to get some
high visibility for Linux.

Actually I love the news. It means that Microsoft is really screwing you
Wintards. The really good news is that you idiots seem to love it. This can
only be explained by the brain injury, Frankie Boy.

Cheers.

hello, I am not a Microsoft hater, and I love that they are making money.
By getting money they might make the next version of windows better.
Its just that vista is an exception to the rule along with windowsMe.
THEY ARE TOTAL CRAP.

those 2 are failures not in the business sense.. but from a software point
of view.

The best vista basher (yours truly) does not say anything about linux, nor
are they linux zelots.
He likes and use MS products, but he has a big enough brain to see when a
version of windows is so low quality,
that it could be called Vista the CE (crap edition).

Read my post with the title "a heavy blow to the vista propaganda spreaders"
and inform yourself about why MS can still make money by selling ****.

They also are good at inflating their vista sales numbers while at the same
time they are secretly working super fast on
an OS that will actually replace vista before too much damage has been done.

I am not surprised that they made more money.. just think of it.. people buy
Crapista (vista) once with their preinstalled machines then they go out and
buy XP again to format Vista and install XP...

thats 2 OS per computer! Bill Gates is a genius... he is in a win-win (put
intended ) situation! Monopoly of course...
