Did you try to activate and it didn't work? If so, they are down :-)

Why do people have to give smart ass remarks? I was wondering that too
because a post that I read made it sound like, if we go try it and it is
still down then it will mess up our Windows authentication. So, I wanted to
ask that before trying it too.

I posted a thread here last week about E-Mailing to activate Vista.
I have since found out that Microsoft has a TTY phone number for activation
so I searched for and found a free software program that allows you to phone
TTY numbers with your computer.
I have tried the software and it works pretty good, but the only number I
called was their tech support.
I have been unable to connect to Microsoft's TTY number and that is why I
asked if the servers are still down.

The software I am referring to can be found at

Thanks

The Product Activation and the WGA servers are both
functioning properly.

Here's why...keep this in mind when interacting with the public.

You should understand the principle of IQ. Draw a normal bell curve that
represents intelligence. There is a central tendency where the average
intelligent people are found. And by observation you will notice that half
the people fall to the right and these are intelligent people. The people
on the left are below average, less intelligent people. Conclusion, half
the people you run into in general society are below average intelligence.
Another observation, the dumb people are to the LEFT and FAR LEFT, (i.e.,
Mrs. Clinton)

It's a long running newsgroup tradition...from the very beginning. I
know, I was there. LOL!

I only give such responses to those that richly deserve them. Sadly
way too many clowns in this newsgroup DO deserve such responses. I
assume you know I'm not talking about you. Consider it part of the
ambience, otherwise groups like this would be awful bland.

There's almost always a clueless loud mouth boastful jerk like Frank
and a Mr. Arnold and several posters that REALLY known a thing or two
that chase such self-important fools around with a stick and wack them
around... just for the sport of it. Think no more of it than what it
is, just playful banter. Some of us are obviously better at it than
others. ;-)
