after i d/l windows defender my antispware icon disappeared from my task bar
now do i delete all my antispware in my programs or leave everything in there?

That is correct: Windows Defender replaces Microsoft Anti-Spyware. The
Windows Defender icon is different from the Microsoft Anti-Spyware icon, and
only shows in the taskbar if it is trying to draw your attention to
something. You can configure an option in Windows Defender if you wish to
see the icon displayed at all times.

Installing Windows Defender Beta2 (Refresh) replaces MS Windows AntiSpyware,
so you don't need to do anything.

Microsoft has established separate newsgroups for Windows Defender Beta2
support and comments. This is not one of them.

Sorry I should have been more precise what I mean is do I delete Microsoft
Anti Spyware files that I still have on my system i.e the original Microsoft
Anti Spyware
