Microsoft auto update kb886903

This auto update downloaded to my computer some time back but would never
install. It is a high security update but when attempting to install it has
"0" bytes. how do i find this download to get rid of it so that i can get the
proper download. Or do I really need it. I have service pack 2 now.

Yes you need it.

To remove the old update and other Remove WU downloads from the temporary folder
(note they normally clear after about 10 days anyway):-

Stop the Automatic Updates service

Click Start, Choose Run.
In the Run box, type services.msc.
Click OK.
Right-click the Automatic Updates service.
Click Stop.
Stopping the service will take a moment.

Delete the contents of the Download folder
Click Start. Choose Run.
In the Run box, type %windir%\SoftwareDistribution
Click OK.
Open the Download folder.
Delete all contents of the Download folder.
Close the window.

Start the Automatic Updates service
Click Start. Choose Run.
In the Run box, type services.msc.
Click OK.
Right-click the Automatic Updates service.
Click Start.
Starting the service will take a moment.

By deleting the contents of the Download folder - you have removed any
downloaded updates.
