Winternals was bought by Microsoft.

They released an upgrade to the Winternals Administrator's Pak, called
"Desktop Optimization Pack."

However, it is *ONLY* available to *ENTERPRISE* customers who have bought
*VOLUME LICENSES* to Windows Vista. ONLY, and ONLY if a customer has
purchased *VOLUME LICENSES*, then they can pay MORE $$$ to join the
"Software Assurance" program. Then, ONLY, and ONLY if they are in the
"Software Assurance" program, they can pay **MORE** money, but ONLY for
*VOLUME LICENSES* of the "Desktop Optimization Pack." So they have to pay
for EVERY computer on which it MIGHT be used.

I set up and reconfigure machines all the time and I'm a big Winternals
user. I'm ****ed as hell that I've been banned from my upgrade, I think I'm
being discriminated against because I'm not a big corporation. This is
totally unfair... it gives VOLUME LICENSE customers a BIG ***UNFAIR***
advantage.

I wish I had the $$$ to hire an attorney and prepare a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT
over this. I hope someone else does.

I also hope Microsoft's stock value plummets for all the **** they've caused
with Vista.
