I accidentally updated my PC, which runs Windows 98, with DIRECTX. It was in
the list of available Windows Updates. Now, whenever my system boots the
first thing I see is a full screen of the Microsoft DIRECTX DLL Register,
dxdllreg.exe. I want to uninstall DIRECTX now so this goes away. (I don't
even know why I down selected DIRECTX to be installed in the first place!)
How do I uninstall it? I can't find the program(s) to be removed after I go
to Control Panel and look at Add/Remove Programs. I don't know its update
name/number. Thanks in advance! DeeDee
