Microsoft driver update for HP Deskjet 460 Series

Can't seem to get Windows 7 update to load this driver update. My system has
tried several times. Nor can I locate the file itself, anyone know where
this file resides within Microsoft or elsewhere. The path
(http://winqual.microsoft.com/support/?driverid=4189) is pretty useless.

Get needed driver updates from the device or computer manufacturers'
download pages, NOT Windows Update. (IOW, hide the driver Windows Update is
offering the computer.)

First - which specific printer?
- HP Deskjet 460c Mobile Printer
- HP Deskjet 460cb Mobile Printer
- HP Deskjet 460wbt Mobile Printer
- HP Deskjet 460wf Mobile Printer

Second - Windows 7 ______ Edition __-bit?
(What edition of Windows 7 and what architecture - 32 or 64-bit?)

So - while most of the time I would suggest going to the manufacturer's web
page for the drivers - not Microsoft (in the case of non-Microsoft
drivers) - HP has all but abandoned the printer you have for Windows 7 (32
or 64-bit.) They provided and initial driver to incorporate into Windows 7,
it seems. That's good.

As for updating it - *why* are you updating it? Just because it is being
offered *or* because it is being offered, you read about why it was being
offered and knew that would fix some issue you were having with your
printer?

This may, or may not, be a bug with Win7--at least with Win7Ux64 I'm
using. I noticed that the Windows Update continues to nag about HP
driver update when my network connected HP printer is powered OFF and
unavailable. I finally just choose to hide that update--as I already
have the latest drivers directly from HP.
