Microsoft Explorer not responding

I've recently installed Panda anti-virus and now whenever I log onto Microsoft Explorer it works for a short while then it stops responding. I contacted Panda and they said that their program wasn't the issue. Does anyone know if this is a Vista, Explorer or Panda problem and what I can do?
