I have been trying to download the above to allow my Microsoft Wireless Laser
6000 mouse to work with Vista by allowing the screen saver to work but
cannot access anything that gives me that file within Microsoft downloads.
What am I doing wrong and how do I get what I need to do to solve my problem?

See if you can get it from the new MS Update Catalog. Be aware that it
is dated 1/9/07, but it appears to be the latest one :
http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Home.aspx

In the Search field enter Microsoft HID Non-User Input Data, then click
the Search button.
It appears that the second update listed, for Windows Vista,Windows XP
Size 1.3 MB is the one you're seeking.

MowGreen, how do you apply or install the Microsoft HID Non-User Input Data?
I have downloaded it to my desktop, but where does it go?

Thanks

MC
