Is Microsoft incapable of fixing Vista USB problems?

Vista evidently has serious USB issues on many computers (including my own).

What concerns me most is that these problems have plagued Vista since launch
and Microsoft still have not fixed them. Googling around to try to find
solutions to my own problems, I come across people with BRAND NEW computers
who are struggling with failing USB ports. So these problems are persisting
nearly a year since Vista public release, and many years since the beta
release.

I am therefore left wondering if Microsoft have completely no idea what the
problem is and are completely unable to resolve the problem?

Well some problems are so well built into the kernel of vista that they
would need to work months to fix them... so what will happen is that instead
of making a service pack 2 soon, they are working on the "real vista that
should have been"
aka Windows7.

Consider vista a bad beta, and the final product windows7

Ok many people like stupid frank invested heavily on vista, but those people
are stupid enough to jump onto bad technology with lots of hype instead of
asking us professionals who would tell him to stay away from vista.

What problem?? I Googled VISTA USB and didn't see one problem

2 Vista PC's here NO USB problems
No one I know has a USB problem

Perhaps you would care to explain your problem and you may find it isn't
Vista causing it at all.

but from the looks of your post ( all bitching and no substance) I'm
inclined to think your just another Linux loser trolling this group

Get a clue Microsoft butt kisser.

You obviously have no idea how to use Goggle.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...SB+port+errors

Microsoft seems to think there are issues with USB and Vista as their
own Knowledgebase confirms:

After a Windows update a while back both my printer and my mouse stopped
working. I had to switch my printer to a different usb port and install a
new mouse.

ZZZZZZ Every device on a PC can and does have problems from time to time and
it's not uncommand and has been that way with all version of Windows or any
OS out there. there are just too many possible combinations of hardware,
software and drivers. Now you can blame it all on MS if you like (and I'm
sure you will) but any reasonable and knowledgeable person knows there could
be many reasons for a hardware fault.
So I guess your excused

Here Google this "Linux USB trouble problems" and see the 2,000,000 Plus
hits you get. Now am I over in a Linux group writing BS post about how Linux
can't fix their USB problems?
No
Why?
Becasue I'm not a troll, Troll

Since you don't have anything to really say don't bother replying.

And they worked in the same non working USB ports?

where these devices on an External hub? Where they old devices? did you
check for newer drivers?

If you did use the same ports then I would dare say your USB ports are
working in Vista but your old devices weren't.
