Microsoft Installer 4.0

I have Vista Home Premium on my new Toshiba laptop. Someone gave me Microsoft
Works 9 and I have two questions.

#1- Will Miscrosoft Works 9 work with my Vista HP?

And, one of the requirements is: Installer 4.0 on Windows Vista.

#2- How can I tell if I have Microsoft Installer 4.0 on my Vista HP?
Someplace I can look to see if it is there (listed)?

Can anyone help?

Windows Installer 4.0 is included with Windows Vista.

Do you know where it might be located? Someplace in Control Panel?

You don't need to know where it's located....it will be automatically
started when you install new software.
