Microsoft Intellimouse driver updates?

having just bout a newer PC, my Microsoft Intellimouse is behaving rather
erratically or sluggish even, i wonder if anyone knows where i might be able
to obtain an upgraded driver from, if thats what it needs? Using XP Home
SP2..anyone any ideas please?

many thanks for that information TaurArian i have downloaded the software as
you suggested, still seems sluggish, but i rather think its the slowness of
my PC..Compac Presario 3.4+ CPU 512 MB DDR2 RAM, very slow on boot-up
especially, all updates have been loaded, i get the distinct impression that
its something to do with Service Pack 2...i'm no technical Genius, any idea
why the PC could be so slow..200 GB HDD i wonder if installing some more RAM
would help?
