Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 (KB110806)...AGAIN

Why do I continually get a message to update Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1
(KB110806)...when my computer apparently updated this on 4/10, but then
failed to update several times between 4/12 and 4/25. Another successful
update occured on 4/27 and 4/28 along with 2 failed attempts on 4/28.

Why do I keep getting update notices when the update apparently has been
performed. Like right now, the yellow shield icon is on my lower task bar
that indicates..."Updates are ready for your computer" And guess what...yes,
it is Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 (KB110806)...AGAIN.

The .NET Framework 2.0 SP1 installation fails on a computer that has the
..NET Framework 2.0 installed...

install]

NB: Write down what .NET Framework versions are already installed before you
go uninstalling/removing any of them!
