Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0: x86 (KB829019) -- Installation Fai

I have tried installing this update 4 times, without luck. It returns the
error code '0x1011' each time.

I do not know what might be causing the problem, but I can tell you that I
already had these updates successfully installed on my system before
attempting to install this new update:

1.) Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1,
2.) Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Hotfix (KB886903),
3.) Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Beta 2

The reason I have 'Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Beta 2' installed is because
it was required for the installation of the program 'Visual C++ 2005 Express
Edition Beta 2 - English' that I downloaded from Microsoft and use.

I have not had any discernable problems with my current configuartion, so
this update is not utterly essential I suppose, but I thought it appeared to
be worth the install.

Any insight into the error I'm receiving or help installing this update
would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help.

UNINSTALL the beta before installing the release version.
