So I downloaded the office sr1 update before I realized I
needed the office disks to complete the installation. I
don't have them since we run 8 businesses and no one knows
where they are. How I get it to stop trying to update
every time I start outlook or word? The documentation on
my problem can be found at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;255499&Product=Off2kset

Thanks for the help

I of course didn't create a save point before trying to
install.

You will need the CDs.
As long as Office is retail, contact Microsoft:
