I just started to use Windows vista Home premier edition. With the XP edition
I had something called microsoft office tools/ scan. This program allowed me
to scan docs into word and once in word I could correct spelling, rearrange
and edit the documents. I can not seem to find this in vista, does anyone
know if it or something simular is available, I write stories and really like
this tool.

Thanks

It's called Microsoft Document Imaging and it's not installed by default.
Go to Control panel-Add/Remover programs, click on Office, choose "Change"
and then "Add or Remove Features"
It's under Office Tools.
