Microsoft Outlook backup

Having lost all info in my Office 97 Microsoft Outlook calendar and contacts
on a couple of occasions, I wish to find a way to regularly back up the
information contained in that program. I have a partitioned disc and
considered backing it up there but am unable to find a way to do so. Has
anyone done this or does anyone know how to do this in such a way that I can
back it up to that source regularly. Any other ideas would be welcome.
