MICROSOFT Picture It! 2002 (V6.0.829.0)

Have any of you people who are smarter than I am figured out how to get
Microsoft Picture It! Photo 2002 (V6.0.829.0). I can get it to go through
the editing process and then save it. It appears to be working fine until
it says Picture it has stopped working. Surely someone knows how to help
me. I took some family pictures for a friend of mine and needed to remove
glasses glare. I did this by cutting around the eye and rotating it. Like
I said everything works fine until I try to save it. This program worked
excellently with my Windows XP OS. Thanks for any help. Vicki Smith

Be sure the exe file has WinXP compatibility in its Properties. Be sure
you're saving the pics to a folder that's not under house arrest. Try
directing Picture It to save in the Public folder. Many issues are about
compatibility and writing to folders on the hard drive.
