Microsoft Pushed the Mediaplayer

After Microsoft pushed Vista related updates to me (re: windowsupdate) I now
have a newer version of Media Player! I am asked to download
licence/certificate every time I try to launch an MP3 file. This does not
seem right. Have an answer?
