This won't install in my computer. I am using windows xp. I keep getting a
update repeatedly. When I tell it to install, it comes up fatal error and
won't install.

Try posting in the SQL Server Setup & Upgrade forum for assistance:

Or uninstall all Windows Live Essentials, reboot, then do a clean install
but only install the Windows Live applications you're going to use.
