Microsoft streamlines Windows 7 options (OT)

I must be missing something. The article touts simplification re. the
proliferation of versions then lists:

Windows 7 Starter edition
Windows 7 Home Basic
Windows 7 Home Premium
Windows 7 Professional
Windows 7 Ultimate
Windows 7 Enterprise

This is different from Vista how?

They're simplifying the marketing. Home Basic and Professional
will be the only two retail versions sold as mainstream. Starter
and Basic will only be sold to PC manufacturers. Ultimate and
Enterprise will be available as high end versions.

Linux only has one version and that is really simplified. It is the
ultimate version.
