When attempting to "secure" any important NEW up-dates & then I was informed
that anything that I entered would be accessible to the
"whole-unsecure-World" So what IS a person to do when wanting "said" up-dates
& yet find that they have to all but make a "deal" with the Devil in order to
do "it", huh ???

" GOD BLESS AMERICA "

You should be behind a router, even with only one computer. Have a
reputable updated firewall and Antivirus scanner. Once these are done, you
will be as secure as you can possibly be and can then go an download
updates.

???????What devil
if you goto the microsoft update site and download the updates you should
not have a problem. What OS are you running. If you are not running
Windows XP and do not have SP2 then you are insecure.

Hi;

Can you be more specific about this issue? Where are you seeing the
notice stating this?
