Microsoft Update - does not update Office product

After switching from windows update to Microsoft Update. I installed Office
2000 Pro. However when I rum microsoft update, it does not update my office
product. I have to go to the officeupdate site and update office there.

It was my understanding that Microsoft update would update both my operating
system and my office product. How can I correct this problem?

Microsoft Update does update Microsoft Office XP and later:

But not Microsoft Office 2000
