Microsoft Update doesn't seem Office 2000 and 2002 Updates?

I have Windows XP Professional SP2 with Office 2000 SP3 and Windows 2000
SP4 with Office 2002/XP. How come Microsoft Update cannot see them? I
had to disable MS Update to get the Office updates.

Thank you in advance.

From the Microsoft Update FAQ:
=====
Do I still need to get updates from Office Online or use Office Update?
No, if you've installed Office 2003. If you use an earlier version of
Office, you should still get updates from Office Online. Also, if you like
to download fun or useful add-ons such as templates, clip art, and other
media for any version of Office, you still need to go to Microsoft Office
Online.

=====

You can use both Microsoft Update and Office Update on the same machine
without disabling either.

Thanks! Where is the Office Update link in MS Update? I don't see it
anymore in the top bar menu anymore or anywhere else. I must be blind.

You can use one of a couple links directly from the Microsoft Update FAQ, or
go to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx and use the link on the
upper-right, Check for Updates. You may see a different web page, depending
on which version of Office you're running, which is why I'm hedging slightly
on the links. 8-)

Thanks. I think I am going to back to the old Updater Web pages.

Thanks for the link Jim, I run Office 2000 Premium and of course wasn't
offered any updates this time round through MU, just been to the link and
got the necessary update for my version.
Thanks
Joan
