Microsoft Update Windows XP Service Pack 3 (KB936929)

I'm not able to install this update from update.microsoft.com site. Status
of error is as follows:

Error Code: 0x8007F0F4
Try to install the update again, or request help from one of the following
resources.

I got possible solutions as follows.
1. You are trying to update your laptop when it is running on battery power.
2. The update installation program detects that the update is incorrect for
your computer.
3. Prerequisite updates have not been installed on your computer.

Definitely it is not 1, not know whether it is 2 or 3. Can someone help me
please.
