Microsoft Updates Failed

I tried to update the following files, and they keep repeatedly failing to do
so.

Update for Office 2003 (KB907417)
Office 2003 Service Pack 2
MSXML 4.0 SP2 Security Update (925672)
Update for Outlook Junk Email Filter 2003 (KB921587)
MSXML 4.0 SP2 Security Update (KB927978)

I have Windows XP Professional on my laptop.
If anyone knows where I'm going wrong, could you please help me, as I'm a
real techie-dunce!

Sorry mate, but don't be alarmed! I've tried updateing my computer for more
than 4 hours and I still get the same message as you on (KB927978) and
(925672). Both failes and I can''t even get rid of the download I have in
order to get a new and fresh one.
Can someone out there help us?

I am having the same problem - can download updates (particularly for Office)
but they then won't install? And I have tried repeatedly, too - sounds like
the original post was written by ME?!?!? Any help will be greatly
appreciated!
