Microsoft VM everyday update

My problem in in the subject line and it's been happening(wanting to update)
everyday so far this week. I have installed the same update but it still does
this. It keeps saying: "This setup will only upgrade over an existing version
of the Microsoft VM." I have turned off my automatic updates cuz of this
nagging problem. How can i stop this? All otehr updates are up to date.

Go to the Windows Update or Microsoft Update web site.
Click the button "Custom"
In the left hand panel click "High Priority".
Locate the entry in the right-hand panel for the Microsoft VM Update, and if
necessary click the plus-sign-in-a-box to expand the entry.
Select "Don't show me this update again"
