I've found info by way of a database and click on the PDF file. Microsoft
Windows says there is a problem and needs to close Adobe Reader 8.1. I click
close and the computer freezes. I have to restart.

Microsoft Windows says this is Adobe Reader's problem. Checking my
solutions nothing is stated to help with this problem. I've uninstalled and
reinstalled Adobe and still have this problem. I've completed a full sweep
and Norton states my computer is virus free.

Can someone help me? Thanx!

The latest Adobe Reader is 8.1.2. Does this problem happen while
using other user accounts/profiles ? You mention you use Norton &
should be aware that Norton Home products cause both instabilities
and loss of performance on ANY machine it's used on. You're not
likely to ever have a stable/reliable machine ( Regardless of OS ) if
you use Norton ______.

Replace Adobe Reader with Foxit reader. Faster, neater, and doesn't call
home once a week.

Replace Norton with AVG, Avast, or any number of other virus-checkers that
are faster, cleaner, and less bothersome than Norton.
