Microsoft Windows Update 3/9/05 install failure

Microsoft Windows Update 3/9/05 automatic update which I allowed to install
during shutdown does not terminate overnight. What should I do? Power down
and reboot? Wait longer? (The insallation info talks about scanning hard
drives and I have about 300Gbytes of hard disk.)

I need a little more information. What do you mean it did not terminate
overnight? The installation occurs at 3:00am by default, but you could set
this to 7pm or whenever you wanted. You can even set NOT to install until
you manually allow it.
