I have a Vista system, with 187 security and windows updates, back to
4/25/07.

What of all these can I delete, running out of disk space? Same with Office
updates.

You'ld be much better off to create more disk space instead, even if you
could delete a few of lesser importance.

You may want to check out a little optimization tool called, CCleaner.
Apart from deleting Temporary Internet Files, it also cleans temporary
Windows files, log files, and memory dumps--all while leaving your updates
in tact. The first few times I ran it I was totally blown away. You can get
