Microsoft Zune 2.5 Update

Hi,

I tried to download and install the new Microsoft Zune Update 2.5 for my
computer; however, it does download with no problems, but when it get to
install the update it gives me an error. The error code that it gives me is
0x80070643 with a message that says "setup must stop because the required
package 'Zune' didn't install. What should I do to fix this problem? Right
now I am using the Microsoft Zune 2.3 version. I hope that you can help me
with this problem.

I am having the exact same issue and I can't get it to work either. This
happened when I 1st got the Zune. The fix last time was editing a registry
key, but that did not work this time. Very frustrating!!

Was able to install after turning Windows Firewall on.

jason thank you so much i just bought teh zune yesterday but couldn't install
it because of teh problems above, but when i turned ont eh firewall it worked
out, thanks so much
