micrsoft security message

I keep getting a security message from microsoft saying I am being spied on
and need to down load these programes .This now comes up instead of google on
my main page. But when I try this it is still there and I seem to be getting
all mixed up now as to which security I need

The message is NOT from Microsoft but from hijackware that's already
infected your machine.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
