Migrate existing server to Hyper-V VM

Hi,

I've got a machine that's currently running Server 2003R2 x64. I'd like
to install Server 2008 and Hyper-V and then migrate the existing stand
alone OS to a VM. Is there a way to do this? Can I use the built-in
backup application in 2003 to back up to a file and then somehow
transfer this to a virtual disk after 2008 is installed?
