Migrating DFS Root Namespace during AD Domain consolidation

Hi,

We have a AD Forest on 2003 R2 servers. The forest includes a root domain
with multiple child domains. We are in the process of decommissioning one of
the child domains, which also hosts a domain-based DFS root. The shared
folders & DFS links have been migrated to target domain (other child domain
in same forest).

What is the best method to migrate the DFS root (namespace) ? We want to
ensure minimum or no impact for end users.

Best Regards,

Buddi
