Migrating Live Mail

I have been running Live Mail under the Win 7 Release Candidate several
months on both my laptop and desktop very satisfactorily. Yesterday I
received the 'real' Win 7, installed it on my laptop and used Easy Transfer
to ease the process of going from the RC to the real one. It went well
except for Live Mail. No accounts, mail or news, were carried over to the
new system. I had also tried to use Static Live Mail Backup to back up Live
Mail on my desktop but I couldn't get it to complete. It failed trying to
open a file in the Live Mail Store Folder.

What can I do to get Live Mail to have all of my accounts from a RC machine,
either the laptop or desktop, to the real Win 7 installed on the laptop?
I have an Acronis True Image backup from which I can pull files if that is
needed but I don't have a clue what files would be needed.

Will someone please help me out here?

Thank you very much.

OK, I think I have solved my problem. Found the Accounts Import/export
feature and am in the processing of doing so right now.

Thanks anyway.

Glad you found it Jack.
To close the loop, afiak, Easy Transfer doesn't handle WLM's settings etc.

I prefer to save all my mail and news accounts(exported to a *.iaf file), export messages to a blank folder(different hard drive,
jump drive etc), and export contacts to a *.csv file....all capable of importing into a new WLM install on a new o/s or a
wipe/reinstall o/s and software.
