Minimizing more than one site . .

I often find it necessary to go from one site to another. I have tried to
minimize one site, and then go to another . . . I'm unable to do this with
Vista.
Perhaps, I have to do more than just click onto minimize.
Can someone help me with this . . it is so time consuming to have to go back
and logon to the first site.

Thanx,

What browser are you using? Both Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox have
tabbed browsing. Look in the respective programs' Help files for "tabbed
browsing" to see how to use this feature.

OK Malke . . I just went to IE browsing . . I don't know which one to check
in order for me to minimize more than one, and not lose it.
Can you help with that? Sorry, I'm at a loss when it comes to making these
changes.
I'm always afraid to mess things up.

Thanx,

I think you might be a bit confused about the tabs in IE, and you are
instead dealing with multiple instances of IE. You cannot actually minimise
the tabs within IE, but you can minimise an instance of IE itself. Maybe
you should grab the nearest 12 year old and get them to explain it to you.

Sorry . . I don't know what you are telling me Synapse. I thought this was a
forum for help . . I guess not.
I'll ask my question again, and hope that someone will give me a proper
answer.

Sorry, I did not mean to be rude. It is just hard to describe what I was
trying to say using text, and getting a real person to show you might be
easier. And 12 year olds can use computers intuitively.

debarybabs - Everything you need can be found here -

Start>Help and Support>scroll down to "Joys of tabbed web browsing" and go
from there. Good luck, Wayne

Thank you Wayne . . I will try that.

Synapse . . I know about the 12 year olds. Unfortunately, there aren't any
in my area.
My children and grandchildren live in another state.

I will try to do this on my own. I've managed before . . I just don't like
to do the wrong thing, and mess things up.

debarybabs - Sorry for giving the wrong answer first time. On rereading your
original post, I see that you want to minimize windows to the tray so you can
go between them at will.
This is possible with Vista. You minimize one page that you want to revisit,
then logon to another page and do the same as many times as the tray will
allow.
Are you saying this can't be done on your machine or that you don't know how?
There is much on minimizing windows in "Help and Support". But if you have a
particular problem post with more detail. Wayne
