Minimizing Windows

I cannot get windows to minimize and STAY minimized in Vista Home
Premium. One or two will stay minimized in the taskbar, but if I visit
another site, they disappear. Is it possible to minimize 4-5 windows at
once, as in XP?

But if you wanna grouped minimize to taskbar. you can enable groping in
taskbar.
Goto *Taskbar and Stratmenu properties* >> choose Group similar taskbar
buttons
Apply n Exit !

Windows minimize quite nicely, but a windows with taps will only show its
last active tab when minimized. It is not clear whether your question is
about separate windows or tabs,

OK, I'll try to be more clear.

When I minimize a window it goes down to the taskbar (start bar). If I
minimize another window it goes down there, too. If I go on surfing and
go to minimize another window, I find the first two have disappeared.
This happens whether I have them stacked or side-by-side. Is Vista
limited in some way that only a certain number of windows can be
minimized at once?
