missing contacts

I had a little play around a think I discovered what the problem is.

I have 2 systems, one using 7.5 and one using LIVE.

7.5 shows all my contacts fine

Live show only about 3 or 4 contacts, funily enough these contacts have LIVE
installed and have allowed my nick to see them.

I am guessing the long load time, is actually double checking your list and
seeing if your contacts ar allowing to see you or not, if not the contact
doesnt appear in you list.

This is only a guess but seems pretty logical to me, obviously a new system,
since 7.5 (guessing here) doesnt check to see if contact allows you to see
them or not.

Now if this is the case, then I am guessing the only way for this to work is
readd you contact, or get the to update aswell, but worst case both update,
and noth lose the contact information, pretty messed up by the looks of it.

Maybe there is a setting somewhere to disable this check to see if your
allowed to see your contact if he allows it or not.

Yes WLM has a different model for contacts, that's part of the problem.
