Missing Details Pane in Printers folder

The Details pane is not in the Organize Layout menu of the Printers folder. I
am not using Windows classic folders so that is not the reason. It was there
when I upgraded from XP. I was having some other problems however so I did a
clean install of Vista Ultimate. The details pane is available in all the
other folders. How can I add it to the Printers folder?

In the Printers folder, does the Toolbar have the right buttons? For
example, Add a Printer, and, when a printer is selected, See What's
Printing, Delete this Printer, Rename this Printer, etc.?

Yes, all that is there. However when I click on Organize then on Layout all
that I see is Menu bar and Navigation pane. There is no Details pane.
