If you do an F8 boot in Vista 64 one of the options is supppose to allow
you use unsigned drivers.

I'm not seeing that, when I hit f8 at start up it brings me to a screen
that asks me to choose a boot device?

so i choose a device then keep hitting f8 then get to a screen that has
4 start up options for windows. safe mode start windows normal and so
on, but no option that mentions drivers at all.

what do i need to do to get to the option to use unsigned drivers.

THanks
Frank

You're hitting F8 too soon, and you are getting the computer's BIOS boot
screen. You need to wait a few more seconds into the boot process and then
tap the F8 key to get the boot menu in Windows.

I don't think the 64 bit version will allow unsigned drivers like the 32 bit.
There was alot of discussion about this on the web Google "Vista 64 bit
unsigned drivers".

Have a look at these. You won't find the entry on the F8 menu to allow
unsigned drivers in Vista 64 bit
