Missing folders

Whilst using Windows Mail a fortnight ago I must have inadvertently touched
something to cause most of my folders to disappear. No amount of trying has
brought them back! Just in case I am not using the correct language I mean
the folders that I have created into which I transfer e-mails to which I have
responded.
Having looked at previous questions the matter of anti-virus ware often
appears - I have AVG and am working in Vista.

Help would be much appreciated

Try clicking "view" on the toolbar and then "current view" and make sure
"hide " is not selected.
If you had accidently started to delete the folders the "Are you sure"
window would have popped up to prevent the accident.

After selecting "View" I find that "current view" is greyed out and therefore
I can go no further. Help, please!
