missing .MSP files

I get this message when I try to download an Office Update: "Windows
Installer patch files (.MSP files) are missing, etc... If the files are
missing you will not be able to apply Office updates."
This started after I deleted about 40 $NtUninstallKB files. Even though I
restored all of these files from the Recycle Bin, I still got the above
message. Is there any hope of recovering those files? Thank you for any
help.
