Vista Home Premium -- am unable to log onto administrator acc't get
following error:
The user profile service failed at logon. User profile cannot be located.

Any/All suggestions appreciated

Thanks, system restore took care of the problem. A ms auto update seems to
have been the cause -- UGH!

Watch out for system recovery that aahfong seems to recommend...

It normally refers to restoring your disk to the way it left the factory.
You'd lose all your data and programs, inter alia.
