Misssing record software in Vista. Help!

For some strange reason, I cannot find the record software in Vista.
It was in Accessories. Previous I had a big problem that "your user
profile not loaded correctly" and all my emails, preferences are gone.
I finally set up another user profile and works so far alright. But I
just cannot find the record software. I did search and cannot locate
it.

Please help.

For my Vista home premium:
start orb
type sound
the list of programs has Sound Recorder, click it.
