I've installed SP1 of Vista and you can create this by either having IIS
installed or simply opening up an MMC and adding IIS.

Everything works in IIS except as soon as I hit Properties on my FTP site it
simply crashes the MMC.

Now I've done this simply by going to Manage drilling down to my FTP level
then soon as PROPERTIES is hit BINGO (App crash of the MMC).

Another way was to start MMC and add IIS then drill down again to my FTP and
hit PROPERTIES again - same problem.

Any help would be great on figuring out a fix or a way to extract SP1 to get
to the newer MMC to at least try replacing the one on my system. Thanks in
advance.

exactly the same problem here... Yesterday installed SP1 (after getting crazy
because SP1 won't install on Vista Ultimate if a alternative bootloader like
GRUB is used. This took me 2-3 days to figure out - Thank you Microsoft!).
Now MMC crashes when I want click on properties of my FTP site.

I found a work around but it doesn't fix the problem. All you have to do is
download and install the new IIS Manager 7.0 and what this then does is give
you two listings of IIS under Manage. The top one is the new one and you can
use it then add your FTP and then work your way through it to get the
properties to come up and at least see who is on your FTP and use Properties.
The funny thing about it is it uses the same exact items as the default one
does but at least it works.

SP1 obviously hoses up one of the dll files for the original version
somewhere which then just causes non stop crashes...

Hope this at least gets you by until we get a real answer.
